The story
Hi, I'm Dhravesh. PromptRail started as a simple API wrapper for managing AI prompts. But as I talked to more customers, a bigger problem emerged: organizations had no idea how their employees were using AI.
Security teams were worried about data leakage. Compliance teams needed audit trails. IT administrators wanted visibility. Everyone was flying blind.
So we pivoted. We built a Chrome extension that captures AI interactions across platforms—ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and more. We added PII detection to catch sensitive data before it becomes a compliance nightmare. And we created the audit trail that security teams were asking for.
Today, PromptRail is an AI governance platform that helps organizations embrace AI innovation while maintaining control.
